Engineering Notes

SITE GUIDELINES
Foundation
· Verify SBC before casting — min. 150 kN/m²
· Increase footing to 1500×1500 if soft soil
· Anti-termite chemical treatment before PCC
· Waterproofing coat on all footing sides

Concrete
· PCC: M10 · Footing + Column: M20
· Curing: minimum 28 days water curing
· Do not cast footing on loose/wet soil

Reinforcement
· Steel: Fe500 (HYSD bars, ISI marked)
· Main bars lap length: min. 500mm
· Column starter bars: 800mm above footing
· Provide U-hooks at footing corners

Sequence of Work
